Pelargonium citriodorum ‘Orange Fizz’
Orange scented geranium. Distinct orange scent. Dark green leaves with light pink and mauve flowers. Upright growth habit to 60cm.
LIGHT
Sunny to partly shaded areas.
SOIL
They grow well in garden beds or pots in well-drained soil or potting mix, preferring a neutral to slightly acidic pH.
WATER
Water well when first planted but do not over water as scented geraniums don’t like to be kept too wet. Allow the soil to dry out a little between watering.
PRUNING
To maintain healthy looking bushy plants, prune them regularly especially during the warmer months when they are growing quickly.
FERTILISING
Scented geraniums do not need a lot of fertiliser. In fact too much nitrogen may diminish their scent. Fertilise them during their growing periods with a balanced complete fertiliser. Fish emulsion and seaweed fertilisers are good or you can use slow release fertilisers applied just as the weather starts to warm up.
